All of our mechanics are hard working, with the utmost commitment to not only us at Farmtech but our customers. We are not just a mechanic shop, but a very tight knit family that works extremely hard to make the customer our main priority.

Jay Kemp

Owner/Operator
Jay has been practicing his trade since he was a teenager on his family farm. Graduating from the Heavy Duty Mechanics Red Seal program for both on- and off-road at Red Deer College, he worked for several years managing other mechanic shops before starting his own business in 2014. Jay has worked hard to make his business the one-stop shop for commercial vehicles, transports, farming equipment in the Innisfail area. He guides his team to ensure every job is performed thoroughly, efficiently, and as cost-effectively as possible.

Cody Quantz

Cody has worked with us since 2015, finishing his last year of apprenticeship with us. He has worked side by side as a Journeyman heavy duty mechanic with Jay, and takes the same pride in his work. He was born and raised in the area and had been a mechanic for six years before coming to work at Farmtech. Cody will work endlessly to get the job done, and is highly skilled in his trade.

Jeremy Holt

Jeremy grew up in the Innisfail area. He has been with Farmtech since 2017. He is a Journeyman Red Seal parts technician. With 19 years of experience, Jeremy can answer any question related to parts for automotive, heavy-duty, AG, oilfield and small engines.

Sheldon Steen

Sheldon has worked with us since 2018. He is our Journeyman automotive mechanic, and is working towards his heavy duty apprenticeship with us. Sheldon specializes in automotive and diesel pickups, and has been a mechanic for ten years before coming to work with us. He also very committed to our customers and getting the job done.
